The Trantec S4.04A (S4.04-A-EB-GD5) is a professional headset system that operates on a licence free UHF frequency.

The kit includes the Trantec HM33 (MIC-SJ33) standard headset making it ideal for handsfree presentation use. The headset system ensures a perfect audio broadcast by maintaining a constant distance between your mouth and the microphone head which is perfect when the presenter is prone to a lot of head movement. The close proximity of the microphone head will greatly help with intelligibility for the spoken word in reverberant spaces making the system ideal for houses of worship, gymnasiums and educational use.

The beltpack transmitter unit is the S4.04-BTX which takes uses an alkaline AA battery to give approximately 10 hours of continuous use.

The receiver unit is the S4.04-RX which has a balanced XLR output for connections to microphone inputs and a 6.3mm (1/4") jack socket output for connections to line level and aux inputs.

The S4.04-A kit does not come with a lead to connect to your mixer or amplifier so don't forget to add this to your order. If you can't see a lead or you're not sure what you need we're aways happy to help.

Very basic system, no volume controls only a Gain compensation. Could not get it to work properly with my Bose system. Returned.

Thank you for your honest review. The S4.04 systems are entry level products but your lack of volume control comments will be fed back to Trantec and hopefully they'll revise future models. The S4.10 receivers do have a gain control so why they haven't included on the S4.04 is unknown to us, it was on the S4.4 receivers after all which was probably Trantec's biggest seller! We can only assume that Trantec expect the system to go into a mixer or mixer amplifier to control gain and it's a shame that your Bose system didn't have that facility either.

Thanks again for the honest and relevant review. Hopefully Trantec will listen to what the users say.
